The memoir chronicles Renner’s harrowing snowplow accident on New Year’s Day 2023 and his long road to recovery. While assisting a family member stranded in deep snow in Reno, Nevada, Renner was run over by a 14,300-pound snowplow. The impact left him with severe chest trauma and multiple orthopedic injuries, requiring emergency surgery and a lengthy hospital stay.

The book doesn’t just detail the physical trauma — it also captures the emotional and mental journey Renner underwent. According to its synopsis, the memoir delivers a “blistering” and deeply personal retelling of the incident, while offering a message of resilience and renewal.
