Following an impressive performance at the SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Lexington, Kentucky, ten Florida Gators student-athletes have been honored with selections to the All-SEC teams. Their recognition comes as a result of standout finishes in their respective events, capping off a championship filled with medals and milestone achievements for the Gators.

The Florida team walked away from the competition with eight total medals—showcasing the program’s continued dominance in both men’s and women’s events. Based on their event placements, selections were made to First, Second, and Third All-SEC Teams, with athletes eligible for only one selection.

Women’s All-SEC Selections

Anthaya Charlton led the way for the women’s team, securing her first SEC Outdoor title in the Women’s Long Jump—an improvement from her fourth-place finish last year. Charlton didn’t stop there. She followed up her gold medal with a bronze in the 100m sprint and also contributed to a sixth-place finish in the 4×100m relay, demonstrating her all-around talent. Her achievements earned her a well-deserved spot on the SEC First Team.

Habiba Harris, a newcomer to the program who joined in January 2025, made an immediate impact in her outdoor debut. She set the collegiate lead in the 100m hurdles at the Pepsi Florida Relays, and at the SEC Championships, she clinched the title in that event with a stellar time of 12.75 seconds. Her breakout performance in her first collegiate championship tournament earned her a gold medal and a place on the First Team All-SEC list.

Alida Van Daalen, the defending SEC champion in Discus Throw, returned from a fall injury with renewed determination. She successfully defended her title with a first-place throw of 65.24m—her season best and far ahead of the runner-up. Her dominant performance solidified her First Team selection alongside Charlton and Harris.

Hilda Olemomoi earned a spot on the SEC Second Team after a strong silver-medal performance in the 10,000m, clocking 33:15.52—placing her fourth in Florida history and 35th nationally this season. Olemomoi also previously finished second in the 3,000m during the indoor season.

Men’s All-SEC Selections

The men’s team was represented entirely on the SEC Third Team. Jacob Lemmon, a former All-American at Virginia, secured bronze in the Discus Throw with a personal best of 61.80m. His performance ranks second in Florida’s program history and twelfth nationally in 2025.

Malcom Clemons bounced back from a missed indoor season to take bronze in the Outdoor Long Jump with a post-season best of 7.91m. His resilience sets a positive tone for the upcoming NCAA Championship run.

With ten All-SEC honorees, Florida’s track and field program once again proves its depth, talent, and continued rise on the national stage.
